It offers a peaceful escape into nature, where large herds of elephants roam freely alongside spotted deer, sloth bears, wild boar, and a rich variety of birdlife.

The half-day tour is designed to explore the most accessible and wildlife-rich areas of Lunugamvehera National Park. Both morning and evening safaris offer excellent opportunities to observe elephants, spotted deer, birds, and other native wildlife in their natural habitat.
During the tour, a short refreshment break is provided for your comfort.
Please note that the tour duration includes hotel pick-up and drop-off, and each safari jeep accommodates a maximum of 6 passengers for a comfortable and personalized experience.

◴ 5.30 am to 6.00 pm
This full-day safari takes you deeper into the park compared to shorter drives, exploring remote jungle areas with greater chances of spotting leopards, elephants, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. The journey follows uneven off-road tracks, offering a true wilderness experience.
Guests may choose optional picnic breakfast and lunch arrangements, with a relaxing break near a water source during the day. Refreshments, snacks, and water are provided throughout the safari for your comfort.
The total tour duration includes hotel pick-up and drop-off, and each jeep accommodates a maximum of 6 passengers for a more exclusive experience.
Full Day Tour Itinerary
– 05.00 – 05.30: Picked up from the hotel and drive to the park entrance.
– 06.00 – 12.00: Morning game drive.
– 09.00: Picnic Breakfast
– 12.00 – 14.00: At noon break, Picnic Lunch, time to rest until afternoon safari.
– 14.00 – 18.00: Afternoon game drive.
– 19.00 – Departure & dropped off to the hotel.
