The Udawalawe Half-Day Safari Experience is carefully crafted to explore the park’s most scenic and wildlife-rich zones, offering an immersive glimpse into Sri Lanka’s remarkable natural beauty. Both early morning and late afternoon departures provide ideal conditions to observe elephants, spotted deer, water buffalo, crocodiles, and a diverse range of bird species in their natural surroundings.
A brief refreshment stop is included during the journey to ensure a relaxed and comfortable experience throughout the tour.
Please note that the total duration covers complete hotel pick-up and drop-off services. Each safari jeep is limited to a maximum of 6 guests, ensuring a spacious, comfortable, and personalized wildlife adventure.

During the journey, you may encounter large herds of elephants, spotted deer, water buffalo, crocodiles, monkeys, jackals,leopards and a wide variety of bird species in their natural habitat.
This extended safari allows more time to explore different areas of the park, increasing your chances of memorable wildlife sightings and authentic nature experiences.
Please note that the total tour duration includes hotel pick-up and drop-off. Each safari jeep accommodates a maximum of 6 passengers, ensuring a comfortable, spacious, and personalized safari experience.

The Udawalawe Full-Day Safari Experience offers an extended journey deep into the park, allowing you to explore its most remote and untouched areas. With more time on the trails, you have increased opportunities to encounter elephants, crocodiles, spotted deer,leopards , water buffalo, monkeys, and a wide variety of bird species in their natural environment.
This full-day safari follows rugged off-road routes, offering an authentic wilderness experience and closer encounters with nature.Guests may enjoy optional picnic-style meals with a relaxing break near a scenic water source. Refreshments, snacks, and drinking water are provided throughout the tour for your comfort.
Please note that the total duration includes hotel pick-up and drop-off. Each safari jeep accommodates a maximum of 6 passengers, ensuring a spacious, comfortable, and exclusive wildlife experience.
Full Day Tour Itinerary
– 05.00 – 05.30: Picked up from the hotel and drive to the park entrance.
– 06.00 – 12.00: Morning game drive.
– 09.00: Picnic Breakfast
– 12.00 – 14.00: At noon break, Picnic Lunch, time to rest until afternoon safari.
– 14.00 – 18.00: Afternoon game drive.
– 19.00 – Departure & dropped off to the hotel.
